Child Abuse Prevention and Awareness Month:
April is Child Abuse Prevention and Awareness Month. The following statement will be read to our students on April 25th. If you have questions or concerns, please contact Mrs. Bowhay.
April is Child Abuse Prevention Month. We want to reach out to students who may be experiencing abuse or neglect. They are not alone and never at fault. If you, or someone you know, is being hurt, please tell a trusted adult. We realize that it takes courage to talk about these things, but the adults in this building are always available to talk with you or listen to you. We want all of our students to feel safe and will do what we can to help.
If you need to make a report of child abuse or neglect, please contact the Department of Health and Human Services Child Abuse and Neglect Hotline at 1-800-652-1999 or the Lincoln Police Department Non-Emergency/Dispatch at 402-441-6000.
Kindergarten Orientation
Kindergarten Orientation will be held for our incoming Cubs on May 3rd from 6:00PM-7:00PM. Parents are invited to come for a presentation with our principal, Mrs. Bowhay and our kindergarten teachers. The new Cubs will visit the classroom and begin to get to know our kindergarten teachers. You may bring any additional paperwork we may have missed at registration. We ask that you only bring your incoming student. Our PTO will provide popsicles on the playground at 7:00. If you have any questions please contact the office at 402-436-1148.

Janet’s Jungle Setup – Friday April 27th
Thank you very much in your support for Kloefkorn Elementary’s Spring Fundraiser – Janet’s Jungle.  Our children have been busy selling plants, now we need to set up so that folks can pick up their items and get their planting started! We will be setting up tables and plant stations in the gym as well as the attica.   Thanks again for all of your help, without you this wouldn’t be possible!

Janet’s Jungle Pick up – Saturday April 28th
Part 2 of Janet’s Jungle!  We will be needing folks to help make sure everyone gets their plants, restock plants, and finally clean up the school from this great fundraiser.  This is a great volunteer opp for families and high schoolers!
